Since 1994, I have been active in pursuing the Heart of God in worship and developing creative worship tools in large banners and flags. I taught banner workshops for many and various denominations of churches in the northwest, helping them with visual expressions of worship for the annual March for Jesus public proccessionals, until the marches were no longer being held.
However I have continued to teach at workshops, conferences, and Ladies retreats since then. My goal is to help equip Christians with understanding about visual worship tools to proclaim Glory and Honor to the Most High God.
I recently was encouraged to develop this myself in learning to paint on silk. With my past knowledge and skills in cloth, I quickly came to realize the beauty and expression of worship that comes through using hand crafted painted silk flags was in itself a unique and pure form of bringing pleasure to the Heart of God.
When the flags are used you can tangibly feel His authority, power, and presence. There will be very real manifestations of His character around and in those who are using and viewing them. My desire is to encourage, equip, and compel those who are called to worship to do so, all who love the Lord God.
I long to reclaim from the arts and entertainment industry the creative artforms to be used for advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth. My heart's cry is for future generations to rise up in freedom and creativity to bring fresh, innovative worship tools and methods that would excite and move God's Heart.
